Tour's Program

We start our tour by moving to Altınderre National Park from your hotel or from the address you want. We take our first break at the National Park Social Facilities which is 50 km away from Trabzon and 1000 m above the sea. The impressive view of Sumela built on the steep hillside of the rising Montenegro, the peaceful sound of Altındere (the Virgin Mary River) flowing through the river, we continue our journey through the valley after the time spent within the magnificent natural beauty of the national park surrounding you.

Although we cant take a full tour in the monastery due to the restoration but we take a tour in the parts we can travel and we are fascinated by the beauty of Sumela. we take a souvenir photo in front of the unique view of both the Monastry and the valley.

We leave the National Park and move to the Historical Zigana Passage. One of the most important passages of the historical Silk Road, the Zigana Passage has been the gateway of Eastern Anatolia and Iran to the West throughout history. We see the Zigana Tunnel and then arrive at the Karaca Cave located within the boundaries of Gümüşhane.

We are moving to Hamsiköy after a visit to Karaca Cave which is an art gallery with stalactites, stalagmites and traventines. On the way back we have a shortstop where you can buy dried fruit pulps at the factory and we visit Torul Glass Skywalk Terrace. After the lunch break in a local restaurant, we will arrive at Hamsiköy. Besides, Hamsiköy Road which is the historical (old) Zigana Road has a fascinating beauty.

At the end of the day, we arrive in Trabzon, where our tour begins, and we say goodbye to another day.
